After a fantastic period together, Bram Meijer has announced the end of his long-standing partnership with Sten Richters. In a personal message, Meijer reflects on their journey, filled with both highs and lows — as is often the case in professional sport.

Together, they achieved impressive results:
• 2x Dutch National Champions
• 3x FIP Rise title winners
• 3x FIP Promotion title winners
• 6x P500 champions
• Qualified for and participated in both the European and World Championships

“I’m proud of what we achieved and, above all, I cherish the memories we made,” says Meijer. “It’s now time for both of us to take our own paths. I wish Sten the very best in whatever comes next.”

While their time on court together has come to an end, Bram emphasizes that his journey in the world of padel is far from over. He announced that he will continue to grow as a professional player, while also aiming to contribute more to the sport itself. “You haven’t seen the last of me,” he adds. “My mission in padel will continue — but in a new direction.” More details about his plans to support the structural growth of padel in the Netherlands will be shared this week.
