Over TC Sint Pancras
Tennisclub Sint Pancras wil drie padelbanen toevoegen aan het tennispark, maar dit plan krijgt een nieuwe wending. Na een bewonersavond in juli '24 heeft het college van B&W besloten om een aanvullend geluidsonderzoek te laten uitvoeren vanwege de gevoeligheid rond padel. Gemeente Dijk en Waard erkende eerder een fout bij de vergunningverlening, waarbij een uitgebreide procedure ontbrak. Tijdens de bewonersavond kwamen zorgen over geluidsmetingen naar voren, waarbij een bewoner zelfs hogere decibellen registreerde dan het model aangaf. Ook het recent verwijderde groen verhoogt de bezorgdheid over geluidsoverlast. Een nieuwe bewonersbijeenkomst volgt na het geluidsonderzoek.
