TV Alkemade

Alkemade Tennis Club was founded on June 14, 1964. At that time, there were three clay courts; later, a fourth was added. A few years later, a fifth clay court (the current center court) was added, along with a sixth. If you're interested in the complete history, read on in this article.

The sixth clay court no longer exists, and in the place of the former court 6 and the former second court of SV Alkmania, we have added four smash courts and a mini-court. The practice wall, which originally stood behind the clubhouse, has been moved to the corner near the mini-court.

The 25th anniversary in 1989 was celebrated in style!
The clubhouse was renovated in 2015, starting with the canteen. The following winter, the kitchen, storage room, changing rooms, restrooms, and boardroom were completely renovated. We, the board, are very proud of the final result.

Membership has grown significantly in recent years. We currently have no waiting list and have around 700 members, consisting of both seniors and juniors!
All in all, a healthy and thriving club!
